Recent DevelopmentsInductus Foundation is working out detailed modalities for organizing “Bihar Global Summit”. Bihar symbolizes a microcosm of the development prospects and problems and challenges for India, and for developing states more generally. Bihar- the Hope Engine of India, being one of the most populous states in India, holds an important responsibility to take forward the state to an inclusive growth and sustainable development path. Inductus Foundation through Global Bihar Summit wants to engaged prospective entrepreneurs and facilitate their vision for Bihar to achieve the long cherished Inclusive Growth agenda fixed by Government of Bihar. The summit will help building a trust and conducive atmosphere for those, who wants to work in a commercial as well as social point of view.
The foundation is working with World Health Partners to roll out a massive training programme on Tele-Medicine in Bihar. Inductus is working with World Health Partner in the capacity development component to promote the concept of Telemedicine in 25 districts of Bihar. The project is supported by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, where Inductus is providing the training component of the project. The following are the main objectives of the project such as: F Using state of the art satellite, broadband and computer technology, the particular project is linking city based doctors with patients living in remote settings. Contracted local partners manage training, technological support and delivery of medicines and supplies and supplies to all providers in the WHP network. F The health services provided by the network include comprehensive preventive and curative care as well as reproductive health and family planning services. F Family planning is provided on an ongoing basis at the shops, telemedicine centers and franchisee clinics -- these providers also help WHP organize annual transit clinics bringing services close to the clients. F The project is using India’s well-established market-distribution system to make non-clinical family planning methods, clinical supplies, and therapeutic medicines available for purchase at, or close to, the village. The Foundation is engaged with various public sector banks and wings of Ministry of SME, Government of India to roll out a project on “Youth Entrepreneurship”.
